My Solar Cycle 25 Amplitude Prediction
Solar Cycle 25 will peak somewhat lower than the current one (SC24) but far higher than the nothingness currently predicted (see here).
My prediction is based on the fact that predictions are hard especially about the future and doubly especially when they imply a wholesale change compared to the present.

That projection is not simply a swag (some wild a** guess) but is based upon the weakening of sunspot magnetism. Someone is placing their bets and in about 15 years time will take their lumps or be vindicated. Isn’t that the way its supposed to work, make a prediction based on a theory and run the experiment (or in this case watch what happens)? It beats the heck out of waiting for something to happen then rationalize the observation. Or worse yet, throw out observations that don’t match the theory.
